CMI House, Migging

Migging is a village on the way to Tuting. It is about 50 Kms from Tuting. We have a Catholic Community of about 20 families in this village. It is part of Tuting Parish and our Fathers from Tuting are taking care of this community. The villagers had donated a piece of land for the Church about two years ago. In December 2020, they again have donated a large plot of land for us for our stay, adjacent to the plot given for the church, free of cost, just with the expectation that we shall construct a Church for them in the plot already donated.

A new road is being made from Migging to Kaying, which when completed would make Migging a Central location.

Fr. Shaju Panengadan started to live in this village in the house made available by the village community as the Priest-in-Charge of the CMI House, Migging on the feast day of Mother of Mount Carmel. There are five villages in the radius of 30 kms with Catholic Communities, in which, there are about 15-25 families in three of them, who are taken care by this Centre.
